At PsyCare, video calls are of the highest quality and encrypted for maximum security for you and your patients. Video call management is compliant with industry regulations for healthcare data.
Accessible from any device*, it involves two main steps:
– access to thevirtual waiting room, as an antechamber to the actual online session;
– thevirtual room, as the actual environment for video consulting.
Both the patient and the therapist will have the opportunity to see their interlocutor as well as seeing themselves.
The therapist will have the possibility to define, at his discretion and depending on the case, theSetting up the online session on the patient’s side: you can decide in advance whether the patient will be able to see himself during the video consultation, or whether he needs to see only the therapist. Enabling/disabling is up to you.exclusive use of the therapist.
Furthermore, theThe invitation to the online session can be customized for each patient.
*Screen sharing is not currently available on iPhone/iPad devices
In PsyCare, the waiting room offers the therapist the opportunity to perform an instant check on the quality of the connection to allow him to make appropriate assessments for managing the video call, avoiding the annoying interruptions that can occur when starting a video call with an unstable, and therefore insufficient, initial connection.
While waiting for the patient to connect, the therapist can minimize the waiting room to move around the platform and manage other activities (for example, uploading new documents to the platform, instantly sharing existing ones, inviting a new patient to the platform, updating the profile, consulting the patient list or their profile, etc.). Once the patient has entered the virtual room, the therapist will receive a notification and can proceed directly to the online session by accepting the patient into the room.
Also in the waiting room, the therapist has the direct link to the session available, to share it immediately with the patient should the latter have difficulty finding his own.
And it is the virtual environment in which psychological counseling takes place.
The contact link to the virtual room is unique and different for each patient and puts the patient in exclusive contact with their therapist.
In the Virtual Room, both the therapist and the patient have various features available to manage the session they have started; it is possible to:
– share your screen
– mute/unmute
– deactivate/activate the video camera
– close the video call
– change the audio and video output settings if you have multiple webcams and/or microphones
– open the virtual blackboard
There is no time limit for video calls, but each therapist can manage the session as and when they deem appropriate for each patient. They will always have access to a summary page of their sessions, detailing the patient with whom the session was held, its duration, and the date it was held.
The signing documents, often called generically (but incorrectly most of the time) company digital, It represents the electronic equivalent of a handwritten signature, since, like the latter, it guarantees the authenticity and integrity of the document/message. It therefore meets the following requirements:
You can have the patient sign documents digitally (ad es. il informed consent), without exchanging emails, in compliance with current legislation, in just 2 minutes.
The documents will be valid according to the law.
PsyCare makes available to his users (for the company digital of the documents) Advanced Electronic Signature (FEA) and allows psychologists to practice their healthcare profession in full compliance with the law.
The most suitable way to subscribe to the general conditions of the contract, rather than the privacy policy, or to have an informed consent signed online is to use a Advanced Electronic Signature (FEA) based on “One Time Password” technology (OTP Signature or FEA OTP), which allows you to sign a contract with a simple SMS!
Your document will be signed and archived within the platform:
– for the therapist in a section dedicated exclusively to signed documents;
– for the patient in his documents section.
It is flexible and safe: The European Union certifies the process (eIDAS): no tablet or pen required, but email and SMS.
It saves time: In two minutes, documents are signed if your patient has email access; otherwise, they will sign electronically when they can.
It’s eco-friendly: It eliminates waste by eliminating paper and simplifies GDPR compliance.
The virtual whiteboard in PsyCare It offers an exceptional creative collaboration experience: on its unlimited surface, you can choose between drawing freehand or writing on an infinite canvas, customizable in color, to better share ideas and content. It therefore allows you to work in the most natural way possible; you can write clearly, as well as scroll through different sections of the page, drag and drop images, and above all create diagrams.
On the virtual whiteboard you can:
You can save your virtual whiteboard project as it appears, allowing you to consult it later if needed. The saved project will be archived within the platform in the virtual whiteboard section.
If the therapist allows it, the patient can also edit and continue working on the virtual whiteboard outside of the session.
To allow professionals to apply the genogram online, PsyCare integrates all the related preset geometric shapes in the dedicated section.
Send and receive documents and store them on secure, legally compliant servers (GDPR and HIPAA compliant).
Within the platform it is possible to share one or more documents almost instantly with one or more patients.
Document management requires separate storage of therapist documents from those shared with and by the patient. Two distinct “folders” are identified for each.
– therapist documents, visible and available exclusively to him;
– patient documents, shared between therapist and patient.
In this section, therapists can upload any documents they want directly available on the platform (tests, images, and other documentation). Uploaded documents can be shared instantly with one or more patients in PsyCare, without the need to send emails or attachments.
The patient with whom you share will see in his Documents section all the files that the therapist has shared with him.
In the section dedicated to his documents, the therapist has the possibility to share, download and delete all the documents he views, as well as upload new ones.
Each patient registered with PsyCare has access to a dedicated section for documents exchanged with their therapist on the platform. They will therefore be able to view the documents that the therapist has shared exclusively with them and will be able to share a document with the therapist from their device, in real time and without having to forward emails or attachments.
In the Documents section, patients can download all the documents they’re viewing and upload new ones to make them available to their therapist. They cannot delete any documents.
In PsyCare, only the therapist can record and review the online session with their patients at their leisure, after explicitly requesting permission from the patient.
Recording directly from the platform means you no longer have to worry about taking notes during the video consultation or reviewing important moments at your leisure. It’s simple, completely private, and allows you to review the session at a later time.
Once both the patient and the therapist are in contact in the virtual room in PsyCare, registration can be started in a few simple steps:
The recordings you make in PsyCare always remain on the platform in the dedicated section, unless you decide to download them; they are visible, available, and accessible exclusively to the therapist.
Do you want to register informed consent?? Use the recording as if you were doing a session, and save the recording as session for consent to data processing
In PsyCare, payments can be managed electronically: integrated into the platform and associated with online sessions.
Each patient can be assigned a predefined payment method (bank transfer, credit card) in complete security and privacy.
It will be possible to do this using various payment methods in complete security and privacy.
When making online transactions, the privacy of your data and the money you transfer is guaranteed by encryption technologies including:
– SSL (Security Sockets Layer) – ensures secure data transmission between two computers connected to the Internet. SSL is a mandatory system that all e-commerce sites must have and is represented graphically by a padlock icon (Netscape Navigator) or a key (Microsoft Internet Explorer).
– SET (Secure Electronic Transaction) – used to ensure security in credit card transactions by encrypting data before sending, authenticating the parties (payer, paid) and ensuring anonymity.
– PSP (Payment Service Provider) – This is where banks come into play, offering themselves as “electronic payment managers for e-commerce sites.” They allow merchants to offer a personal digital wallet (e-wallet or digital wallet) to customers. Once registered, they can associate one or more payment methods, such as credit cards or bank transfers. This way, whenever the customer wants to make a purchase, they simply enter their digital wallet username and password and select the stored payment method without having to enter details, such as the card number.
